Microsoft 365 Security Review
For sole traders and small New Zealand businesses
Microsoft 365 is often set up and left to do its thing. If it’s not broken, it doesn’t need fixing. That works, until it doesn’t.
I provide structured Microsoft 365 security reviews to help you understand how your environment is actually configured, where the risks are, and what practical improvements will make the biggest difference.
No jargon, no lock-in, and no upselling tools you don’t need. Just clear advice, practical fixes, and Kiwi common sense.
What this service includes
Identity and access security
I review how users access your environment and whether the right protections are in place. This includes multi-factor authentication, admin access, risky sign-ins, authentication methods, and identifying accounts that present unnecessary risk.
Email and domain protection
Your domain is one of your most valuable assets. I review email authentication and mail security settings, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, forwarding, rules, connectors, and baseline Exchange Online protections, so your business is less exposed to spoofing, phishing, and misuse.
File sharing and data access
I review how files and content are shared across OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams. This helps identify where sensitive information may be exposed too broadly, where guest access needs tightening, and where ownership or sharing settings need attention.
Microsoft 365 security posture
Using Microsoft Secure Score and broader tenant review, I assess your current security posture and identify the most meaningful improvements based on practical impact, not checkbox compliance.
Licensing and cost efficiency
I review licensing use to identify unnecessary spend, capability gaps, and places where your current licensing may not match your security requirements.
Devices and access control
Where applicable, I review device management and access controls through Intune and related Microsoft 365 settings to check whether only trusted and compliant devices can access business data.
